Back from Vacation... :(

Damn, my bad. I know I haven't been on here in a serous amount of days but I have really been doing things. I think the last time I blogged, I was getting ready to go out of town to Hilton Head. Well we left last week and honestly, it was not long enough. I got a chance to relax and sit on the beach and do not a damn thang. That was the best shit ever. I got to go out to eat for every meal and not have to worry about what I was going to cook or what everyone wanted as a group cuz it was just me and my man. I got to order food for me only. To the average person, I am sure that doesn't sound like a big deal but for me you have no idea. I drank more than a couple of my favorite Grey Goose and Orange Juice. I should be the damn spokes person for those shits. The hotel we stayed at was giving away Grey Goose glasses if you bought a drink and I figured what better souvenir for me to bring my people than a Grey Goose glass. They all know I love Grey Goose. They were good as hell on the island too. So I had no problem getting down. The first day we got there was kind of cold though. But, we said fuck it and went on the beach anyway. We weren't the only ones though so it was okay. I'll post a couple of pics too so everybody can get a little relaxation too. Sorry you couldn't join us. When I looked back at these pictures, they really look amazing. So relaxing. They look like the place to too pretty to be real. So you know we hated having to come back. If our kids weren't here then we probably would have gotten lost out there.

I will tell you though, we saw some crazy shit while we were there too. I mean old white men just doing crazy ass shit. For example, we went to this bar/lounge one of the nights we were there and had a couple of drinks. Well most of the people there were older white people but we didn't care since you could smell the damn alcohol when you open the door to the damn place. So at least we knew they were going to have some good drinks. But mid way through our drinks this old ass white man falls on the damn floor and breaks his bear bottle. He was so fucked up I don't think he even knew he fell. Once his friend helped him up he just kept on talking to some chick like the whole fall never even happened. We laughed out asses off. I wish I would have had my camera ready for that because it was some funny shit. I would have taken the picture right inside the lounge too.

Then one night on our way back to our hotel room hubby decided he wanted to get a drink from the vending machine and as soon as we turned the corner we saw this. For the people who know me, yall know I don't waste an opportunity to take a picture of a drunk person. So this shouldn't even be a shock.

We laughed so hard we had to go back around the corner and try the whole walk to our room thing again. I guess dude thought he was in his bed because he is propped up and everything with his shoes off. He was fucked up out of his mind. We took a couple of good pictures too and he had no idea. We had the flash on and everything. He didn't hear the camera or see the flash. No you know that shit ain't right. Hope he like being on the Internet. Holla.

I'm on Twitter... Now What?

What's up People? See I should get some credit for this shit. I am blogging twice in the same damn day. Even though one was before midnight and the other one is after. But hell, I haven't left the computer in between the two times. I just wanted to see if anybody could enlighten me on this whole Twitter deal. I went on earlier and signed up. I am currently following a couple of people but I really don't know what that means. I did find out that there are a whole lot of people on there. I found Shaq (smile). All the haters be quiet. I found Diddy, Cassie, Keri Hilson, Day 26, Kim Kardashian, Ludacris. Hella people. But I don't really get the whole thing. Okay I see they are talking to us and sending pictures but is that it. Speaking of pics. Cassie (if you follower her) cut her hair off. I mean shaved half of it off and the other side is still long. Everybody was telling her it was cute. It actually was. Don't know if it was spur of the moment or what. Diddy really liked it though. Guess that all that matters. But back to me, am I supposed to actually try to talk to these people or something? I mean they don't know who the hell I am. I really don't expect for them to talk. I am interesting as hell though :). But, it seems like they are just talking to each other. Most of them are partying. Which since it is a Friday night, sounds good to me. I am usually getting into something on Friday night too so I don't blame them. Luda was in Miami, don't know where Diddy was but he was fucked up and saying he couldn't feel his face for some reason. But I guess I will just need somebody to break it down to me. I am not a big groupie so maybe that's why I don't get the whole thing. I would like to chill with some of the people. Maybe party with them one time or something but if it doesn't happen then I'll be okay. I'm not a stalker or anything. I did find Snoop Dogg kind of interesting. He has a link to a Live Video blog on his Twitter. I went to it and dude is crazy. He is just rollin and smokin. Like that is a big surprise. But he wasn't even talking half of the time. Just smokin, oh and listen to music. For those smokers out there. You should log on and light up. You will feel like you are smokin with Snoop because he does it often. I just thought that was kind of interesting. I know everyone knows he does it, but damn just putting the business in the street. He just lets the Live Video roll too. That's funny as hell to me. Not your typical Hot Dogs...

What's up my people? I know I haven't been on here like I should but don't hold it against me. I have been really busy lately. My husband and I are going out of town next week and I am trying to get everything together with the kids and myself before we leave. I can't wait though. I won't dwell on that too much because it will probably just make everybody jealous because we will be chillin on the beach in the hot sun while you are at work or in traffic or something.

But let's get it crackin.
First off... I want to send a big Congrats to K_Rich and her husband on the good news. They are having a GIRL. I told you too. I know those "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" symptoms. It always means a Girl. Okay guys won't even understand that comment. But any women who has been pregnant will be able to relate to the fact that your body is no longer your own. Anyway, just wanted to shout you out. I think a KH name would really be great for the baby girl. But, you can do what you want. :)

But since my night has slowed down a little bit and I am still up I decided to get down with a little blogging.

Oh yeah, to answer the question in the title. It's called a Twinkie Weiner Sandwich. It's a hot dog with Twinkies for buns covered in Cheeze Wiz. Can you believe that shit. Like I said this website is crazy. People have submitted pictures of various food they actually eat or have made in an attempt to eat. But food like you have never seen before. You can even submit your own pic. But I don't know if I know anyone who can compete with the shit I saw on there though. Enter at your own risk. Hope you enjoy. Holla.

Hilarious...

I had a pretty good time this weekend. I usually get together with a couple of friends on the weekends to drink and chill and play some games. Of course we have to play the infamous Spades but we have also started to get into party games. I know this may not sound like the kind of fun most people are into but take my word for it, you have got to try some of the party games that are out now. They will have you doing all kinds of crazy shit. My favorite one right now is this game named "Apples to Apples". This game is really crazy but very simple. Well I guess I should say, the concept of the game is very simple. But, depending on what you have in your hand, it could be a lot more difficult. The object of the game is to be the first person to get 8 green cards. To start out, there are both green (adjective) cards and red (noun)cards in the game. Each player gets 7 red cards. The first reader (judge) picks a green card. Remember the greens cards are Adjectives so the object is to match your red Noun card to the green card selected by the first reader (judge). Yeah like I said earlier it sounds easy but check this out.

What if the green card read is the word "corrupt" and in your hand you have "Electricity, Spyware, A Dozen Red Roses, Private Schools, The Williams Sisters, Slip & Fall, & Backstreet Boys"? What the hell could you put down out of that hand to describe the word "corrupt"? And yes you have to put down a card.

Once you decide out of those choices, you put down the card. The person who read is the judge and they have to decide which card (1 from each player) is the best card to describe the word "corrupt". This is when you get to try to sell the hell out of the bullshit card you just put down. If it works and they pick your card then you get the green card. But if you're playing with stubborn people, or people who want to use their own logic then you are probably screwed. But the game continues until someone gets 8 cards. It is a lot of fun. Just be prepared for the arguments. Because I guarantee it will not go as planned. And, that's "Apples to Apples". I really suggest you try it out and let me know what you think. Once you realize you love it, I will go ahead and take all the credit. Holla.

Something to Check Out

From time to time if I come across something that I feel is interesting then I will post it on my blog. Because even though I am very busy I do try to take some time out to just surf the Internet like I used to before the kids. So with that said, I recently came across super-producer Jermaine Dupri's YouTube channel called "Living the Life". I don't know how long he has been doing this but according to one of the website I read, JD was one of the first celebrities to get into this. On his channel, he takes you inside many different areas of his life. It is unscripted and uncensored. A very good idea. That way you get to see a person's real personality in a everyday setting. I lot of it is talking about everyday shit. He regularly chills with his people in the studio while working and having good conversation. Ocean's 5 is his crew's name and it consists of JD, Usher, B. Cox, Johnta Austin, and JD's assistant Tyrone. It is really something to see. On recent episodes he has been joined by Monica, Day 26, and of course Janet. He addresses questions posted on twitter and they actually do work sometimes. I heard a piece of a track that Usher was doing on one of the episodes and it was HOT. I can't wait to see what they talk about next or who shows up. You know JD has those mega friends (Jay-Z, Puffy, Mariah etc...). Also check out JD's website global14.com. There you will find new music and a link for his twitter line. If you get into all that twitter shit. I will have to check it out to see how the whole thing works before I comment on it. I did visit Puffy's and JD's line but that it so far. Anyway, hope this keeps you busy until I can get back with more info to steer your lives in the right direction. Holla.

Has this dude lost his damn mind?

I have really got to get onto Que from Day 26 before the new episode comes on tomorrow. I can not believe this dude. Is he going through some crazy shit or what? Where did all of this come from? It seems like he just snapped or something. One episode he is okay. And I do mean one episode. Cuz every episode after the first one of the season has been a damn mess for him. Is the fame too much for him? Cuz I do understand that shit could get at you, but they ain't even big like that yet. What will he do when they really blow up?



To be honest, I think it is one of following things. Either he is under a lot of stress from his family, he is having an identity crisis, or it is all made up by MTV for ratings. Let's explore these theories.


1. Stress from the family - He said on one of the episodes (when he was crying about the money situation) that he has to support his family because his father passed when he was a kid. He also said that his mom recently quit her job. I don't know if he actually meant quit or got laid off because there is definitely a difference. I hope she didn't just decide to quit because he made the band. Because Iam sure she knows they won't be making that kind of quit your job money for a while. Plus what they are making has to be divided between 5 guys. So, if she did quit like he said, then that is stressful as hell and he probably doesn't even get to spend his own money for paying the family bills. If he was older and more mature he would have known that in advance and would have waited until he really started making money before he decided to take over everything. But again this is just one theory.

2. Identity crisis - I have been hearing for a while now that Que is gay. Which to me isn't a big deal and looking back at it, I can see why some people think that. He has been acting like a little bitch lately and I did see a little rolling of the neck action when he got mad a Will and Brian in the studio. But, that in itself is not a big deal. But, if he is then he may just be caught up in trying to portray one thing when the situation is really totally different. If he is gay then okay do your thing but my concern is; he shouldn't have been trying so hard to get with Dawn for the last 2 seasons. Because I do remember him pursuing the hell out of her when they originally made the band; even when she thought he was too young for her. Then he was spoiling the hell out of her all last season when they were on tour. And now he has her, and she is really down for him, he wants to go back to his old lifestyle and be down with the guys and he is stuck. Plus, he is on television so he has to really check his actions and behavior and it is getting the best of him.

3. Made up by MTV - I am really leaning towards this theory because I recently viewed a couple of you tube videos from Brian, Willie and yes even Puffy. And in all of the videos the group is just fine. One of the videos by Willie actually has him and Que shooting some hoops at SoSoDef studios. So I really think either there was a problem in the past and they have gotten over it or, there was never a problem to began with. Most of the videos I viewed were taken 2 weeks to a month ago. They all have Que in them and there is no animosity in any of the videos. The group members are just chillin with each other. There was actually one that was shot by Jermaine Dupri where Willie made a reference to the Making the Band show that recently aired where he and Que were going to fight. He just made a comment that fans were saying he should have whooped Que's ass. And Que just says "Don't do that. I told you not to do that". I really don't know though what he was referring to though. But they were both laughing and that was it.

So my recent finding have really changed my opinion on the subject. Because I was originally all for kicking him out of the group. But since I have seen for myself that everything is cool with them then I changed my mind. By the way, they all seem to be pretty cool on there own video blogs.

Makes for must see TV though. So MTV is happy. Holla.

Am I in way over my head?

I have been contemplating for the last week or so about moving to a new house. I really think it is a good opportunity for our family. It is a 4 bedroom house with a partial unfinished basement. That is the thing though. When I went to view the house the previous owner had already started finishing the basement but decided to move to New York. But, he is leaving all of the materials for finishing the basement. Now, I do know a guy who actually used to build houses but I really think I can do this myself. Of course it will take a little time. Not to mention the kids being around. But, I have been watching a couple of DIY clips on the Internet about drywall and adding walls to your basement and it looks like I can do it. I always say, "if someone else can do it, then I can do it too". But my question to myself of course is am I in way over my head. Should I just pass on this house with this great opportunity to finish this basement however I would like it or should I go ahead and take on the challenge. I have actually contacted the agent and told her to send the application and everything. I don't know what to do though. This is something I have always wanted to do too. And who would have thought this situation would present itself to me. I really need some kind of sign. I keep thinking about after I get everything done. How it will be such a sense of accomplishment and it will be exactly how I want it to be. I have even drawn up a layout of the whole basement. I'll just call it a layout because I can't draw to safe my life and it has no dimensions or anything on it. It is a very rough draft. But hell, I can understand it. I even thing the project will be fun. What do I have to lose? Oh I don't know though. Told you I was confused. Let me know if anyone has any ideas or suggestions. Or if you want to volunteer to help. :) That would definitely make it easier. Thought this would help me come to a conclusion. You know.. actually seeing the pros and cons on paper. But I am still in the same position. Damn. I am going to bed. Holla.
