I Do Know a Thing or Two About Basketball

So, I will start this thing off on a good note and talk about one of my favorite subjects. I won't get too deep too quick. So because it's my blog I choose: Basketball Plus I am watching Labron James give it to the New Jersey Nets. I am a 30 something year old female in an all guys fantasy basketball league and I have been kicking their asses for a couple months now. Well now due to some injuries to my teammates, and the fact that Tim Duncan wants to take a damn break every other damn game, I am currently in 4th place out of 12 people. Basketball is one thing that I know for sure though. We had a draft at the beginning of the season and I came out with Tim Duncan and Carmelo Anthony on my team. Are you serious. My supporting cast ain't bad either. Got Andre Igluodala and Mo Williams too. Yeah all on the same damn team. Are they crazy. Melo has been that shit for me all season too. Excluding the time that Jeff Foster broke his hand because he is a fucking hater. But Melo has been back for a minute now and killing there asses.

I also pick teams at the beginning of the season with a couple of guys to see who's team will have the best record at the end of the season. We usually pick 1 Eastern Conference Team, 1 Western Conference Team, and 1 Team (either Conference) who didn't make the playoffs last year. If you know anything about basketball you can let me know how I am doing. So here goes: My Eastern Conference Team is: Cleveland Cavaliers My Western Conference Team is: Los Angeles Lakers My Sorry Team / Team who didn't make playoffs last year is: Miami Heat

For those who don't know, the Cavaliers have the best record in the Eastern Conference, The Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference, and the Miami Heat went from being the worst team in the league to #5 in the Eastern Conference. And then there is this little race for MVP of the league. Well the top three contenders are Labron James (Cleveland Cavaliers, Kobe Bryant (Los Angeles Lakers) and Dwayne Wade (Miami Heat). Are you kidding me, how good am I. My personal pick would be for Dwayne Wade. I have been down with him for a while now. The guy is amazing. Plus he has a group of young guys for teammates and they are still in 5th. He has been playing his ass off. A lot of players try to knock him out when he comes in the paint but it only makes him mad it's on from that point. My favorite thing this season was seeing him jump on that scorers table and shout "This is my house". I feel you D.Wade. I love passion like that. Can you believe the picks I made though. Damn right I am already a winner. I honestly don't even remember the teams that the other guys picked. Why should I. They won't matter. I love having bragging rights. Holla.
