Dondria - "Makin Love"

I really like Dondria & this is the second single off of the upcoming album Dondria vs. Phatfffat. Great pickup JD. I think she's the truth. Her voice is soooo nice. Take a listen.

Eminem ft. Rihanna - Love the Way You Lie

Ok, this is one song that I like. I've always been an Eminem fan but really didn't get into the last CD. Eminem even said himself that it wasn't his best work and promised his fans that he would bring the real on this album. So far, so good. Check it out. Holla!

Tank - Sex Music

This whole Tank/Jamie Foxx thing is really crazy. It just baffles me how someone can sound soooooo much like somebody else. I said it on the Tank - Heartbreaker song. I actually would imagine it to be Jamie Foxx because I love his voice and have always loved his voice. But the voice fits him. I mean, he talks just like he (Jamie) sings so I can see it. But Tank, how do you sound exactly like him. I may have to see him perform in person to actually believe Jamie isn't singing the songs just to help his boy out. Anyway, check out the latest song by Tank. Enjoy! Holla.

Weeds: Season 6 Tease

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VU7autny1Mc&feature=player_embedded

I've recently got into this Showtime series Weeds. It is absolutely great. The shows' central character is Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker), a newly widowed suburbanite mother of two who has turned to selling marijuana to support her family after her husband unexpectedly dies. Over the course of the show she finds herself involved in illegal activities on a progressively larger scale. I've caught up on seasons 1-5 with the help of my Netflix membership and am now patiently awaiting the new season. This is a bit awkward considering I don't have Showtime, but I am determined to find a way to watch it. That means even getting Showtime if I have to. But anyway, go to google.com and type in "showtime's original series Weeds" or get on Netflix or On Demand and catch up. This series is awesome. You only have a month or so left before the new season. August 16th is the date. Hope you like it.

Miami Bound

What's up people. It's been a while. I know. But I've recently got some news that I just had to comment on. ESPN just confirmed that Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade will both sign with the Miami Heat. WOW! Now, I am a big Chris Bosh fan. I started following him during the Olympic games in 2008. I've always felt like he wasn't happy in Toronto (who is) but I also thought he would be a good fit for Atlanta. I even started voicing my opinion on how much Atlanta needed somebody like Bosh and considering the fact that he went to Georgia Tech, I thought Atlanta had a good chance. Looks like they (Atlanta Hawks) weren't interested in going out and getting any more players though. They were only interested in re-signing Joe Johnson (yawn). Yeah the Joe Johnson who averaged about 12pts a game in the playoffs. But enough about that.
So, today on ESPN, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh did a interview announcing they are going to team up in Miami. Wow! It kinda caught me off guard because I've always thought LeBron would be joining DWade in Miami considering the whole jersey number change and knowing how sneaky Pat Riley can be, but I didn't think of Bosh. So, now that they've made this announcement, what is LeBron going to do? Do you think he will join them. If so, I'm a fucking genius. Just remember I said it a long time ago. Can't wait until tomorrow. LeBron is scheduled to make an announcement and of course the world is going to be tuning in. Holla!

Fashion and Entertainment

I know I've been slipping a little on presenting the fashion and entertainment like I usually do, but I will get back on that as well. Please don't think I haven't been looking for anything because I have. I am still deeply in love with shoes and since it's the Spring, you know the sandals are all around and I've found some very HOT ones to post. So stay tuned. I also have a couple new purses and accessories to post as well. I don't know why, but I have become so much more girlie now that I have 2 girls. I have become a lot more aware of all kinds of fashions and can't wait to go out and get some of the new things. I'm just trying to position myself so I can get exactly what I need. Anyway, stay tuned and I'll hit you real soon with some hot stuff.

Swarovski Watch $800-$900

Oh, I can't forget some of my faves. Since we're on the Swarovski theme.

Christian Louboutin Swarovski Sandal

And Last but not least. I have been getting into wine a little more now. Of course I still gets down with the Ciroc and Grey Goose but if you just feel like relaxing and doing it really "grown up", then get on a little wine. With that being said, If you like Red Wine (I don't) try a little Opus One. Some bottles are a little more expensive than others (like all wines) but just to give you a glimpse.
Opus One 1987 $315
Hope this holds you until I get back. Holla.

It's been a while

It's been a while... I know. But I haven't spent my time just doing nothing. I have really been trying to get a lot of things into perspective. I am on a mission this year and have a list of goals that I must see accomplished. Last year was a really good year for me and I knew going into this year that if I just applied myself, I could do phenomenal things. So here I go. For starters, I have enrolled in school and will hopefully start in the Summer 2010. So I have been trying to get ready for that. Seems crazy, but at the end of last year, it dawned on me what my REAL purpose in the world is, and as clear as day I new what I needed to do. So it requires going back to school. But, this time, I actually don't mind doing it. I guess since I have a goal and I see and finish line I am actually motivated and know I can get through this 6 years of school. NO problem. Yeah, 6 years. But it is more than worth it. Of course I gonna keep you in suspense for a while. Just until I get things together and I'll be back on here to let you know what it is and how it's going. But it is something that I've always wanted to do, but for some reason I have always looked over it. Well, I decided around December of last year, that I would look into it a little more and actually found some answers that changed my whole outlook on the profession. I'm sure the answers were there when I considered it before, but guess I wasn't ready for the journey at the time. Well now I am and I am excited. Wish Me Luck. Holla:)

Dating Tips: 10 Signs He's Not the One

By YourTango.com Updated: Jan 28, 2010

Some people say they "just knew" that they were dating their future spouse. But what about the rest of us? What happens when you're not sure if he's The One? If you're considering long-term commitment or marriage, it's time to ask yourself some tough questions. Below, 10 signs that may indicate he's not for you.

1. You have a list of things he needs to stop doing/saying/wearing if he wants your relationship to work. If you're fixating on his flaws, he's either not the one you want or you're not ready for a serious relationship. Cutting him loose allows you time to grow and gives you the opportunity to meet a guy whose flaws you can embrace -- or at least accept.

2. You don't trust him. A small dose of jealousy can be healthy, but if you're hacking into his email account, and going berserk when he goes out without you, something's wrong. If there's something about him that truly warrants your distrust, then perhaps he's not the right one for you.

3. You avoid conflict at any cost. Fighting is healthy. And, when done right (in the non-accusatory, rational sort of way), it can be a great way to air grievances, fix problems in your relationship, and come to a deeper understanding of each other. Ignoring problems is not the same as having no problems at all... even if it looks that way.

4. When you're sad, you don't turn to him for comfort. When you're a giant ball of tears and snot, do you lock yourself into the bathroom so he can't see you at your worst? If you're worried about scaring him away, one of you isn't ready for total commitment. Mr. Right should make you smile through your tears and be a calming, not stressful, presence.

5. One of you is struggling with an addiction. He's sweet. He's exciting. He loves you very much. But he loves his alcohol habit or his weekly gambling fix more. Don't fool yourself into thinking that you can change him or that your relationship will be strong enough to withstand the heartache that addiction will inevitably bring. An addict may be able to change, but he'll do so on his own terms.

6. You can't really imagine him as the father of your children. Ask yourself: Would he make a great parent? Is he financially responsible? Would he be an equal partner in your future together? If you have doubts, he's probably not the one.

7. Your long-term, non-negotiable goals in life are incompatible. You want kids; he doesn't. You go to church every week; he's an atheist. He lives in the country and doesn't want to move; you can't imagine ever leaving the city. Superficial differences can be overcome, but differences in basic values are harder to smooth over. Ask yourself: "Would I be willing to compromise on this?" If the answer is absolutely not, you may not be right for each other.

8. You don't respect each other. He puts you down in front of your friends and complains about you to his parents. You roll your eyes when he talks because there's just something about him that embarrasses you. A relationship without respect can't sustain itself.

9. You're not attracted to him. Physical intimacy is a hugely important component of a romantic relationship. If he doesn't do it for you, he's probably not your best long-term match.

10. On paper he seems great, but you have this strange feeling... Don't ignore your gut. You may get along on a superficial level, but if your instincts are telling you he's not the one for you, listen. That little voice inside your head does not lie.

Dubai does it again

Dubai to build “World’s Largest Arch Bridge” in 2012

What a surprise. Dubai is at it again. These people are amazing. First they construct their own islands in the form of The United States of America, which they appropriately named “The World”

then they constructed their second island named “The Palm”,
then they built the world’s highest tennis court and golf tee in on a helipad that is attached to the world’s most luxurious 7 star hotel named “The Burj” which stands on an its own artificial man made island.

And now, when you thought we were in a recession, Dubai is on schedule to build yet another one of a kind design. It is being called the World’s largest Arch Bridge. The mile-long bridge will be 670 feet tall at its highest point! It will accommodate 12 lanes of traffic with a metro line running down the center. It is estimated to be able to carry over 2,000 vehicles per hour in each direction and has a price tag of 817 million dollars.

This is definitely one place I would love to see for myself.

It's been a while...

I know it's been a while since I've been on here. I didn't make a New Years resolution or anything so I'm not breaking any laws or nothing but I am trying. As you can see, I've been doing research and tryna make things happen. I've brought to you some more hot shit that I've found during my many hours searching the Internet. Now, if I only had the money to buy all of them. For those of you who may be new to my blog, I know I may post some things that are a little pricey and out of the normal person's price range but these are the things I like. NO, I can't buy a lot of them either, but why would I post things that you can go down to your local mall and see. Where's the fun in that. I try to open people's eyes to the other things that are out there. Ya know, give you something to work towards, or something to dream about. Who's to say you'll never be able to buy em. Hell, I just want you to see what out there and your job is to make the rest happen. I can't do it all. Anyway, hope you enjoy and I'll definitely be on the look out for more. Holla.

This is why I love summer...

Now I know some people may get thrown off by the color of this one but I love green so I can see myself carrying this in the summer. If the price was a little more to my liking. But if you can afford it, damn, go for it. It's such a bright summer bag. This also is from the Louis Vuitton Spring & Summer collection. It is called the Monogram Denim Sunburst. They have it listed at $2330 with matching bag charm sold separately for $1120.

Absolutely HOTTTT, no other words to describe em...

Above are some of the newest and most fabulous Louis Vuitton's I've seen in a long time. They are scheduled to be released with the 2010 Spring and Summer Collection debuting February 2010 and selling for $2880. Introducing the Louis Vuitton Neo Bag. Absoutely hottttt. According to reviews, this bag will probably be the most popular from the Louis Vuitton spring and summer collections. There are three styles in the Monogram Eden design (as shown above). It only comes in three colors, Kaki (above), Argent, and PĂȘche. I personally love the green (Argent) one.

Endurance Striped Watch...

Ok guys, I didn't forget about you. Just needed to find something worthy of posting. You know I've been gone from this for a while now, so I gotta get back into. I'm always coming across things for the ladies because that's what I do. Shop and browse. Anyway hope this one is a good one for you. It's the Burberry Endurance Striped watch. It's listed at $495 but it is gorgeous. I think it's a real attention getter. The band alone sends the statement of "this is not just your average watch" this is a time piece. lol. Holla.

What better way to get through the winter season...

Came across these brown ones too. Well actually they refer to them as Nightfall Chocolate. Again these both will run a little over $100 each but it's well worth it on those extremely cold days. Plus, even though your belongings in your purse won't really need to stay warm, you know you gotta match it up with the hott ass boots. The pictures don't really do the boots justice cuz they don't really make them look the same color, but they are both listed with the same color name and are both authentic Uggs. Now the question is brown or black. Not a bad decision to have to make if you ask me. Holla.

A little Winter action...

I really like both of these. Both are by Uggs and are roughly over $100. Very warm but very feminine. I personally like the black but I'm sure they are available in the classic, original Ugg color. Hope you like. Holla.

Stuart Weitzman Studded Denim Sandal $395

Ok ladies, I'm back on the hunt for shoes. I came across this lovely pair thought my Neiman Marcus email that they send me EVERYDAY. Boy they just don't let up. But they always have cute stuff. If you haven't signed up for their email, do so. You'll definitely get a heads up on all the upcoming Springs lines from various designers. They have these cuties for $395. So if you're in the position for a $395 shoe here's one I really like. Or you can send me a pair just for putting you on. Holla.
